Typically one of the largest
in New Mexico, the
Parade
runs through downtown
Wagon Mound....twice.
The Rodeo is held Saturday,
Sunday
and Monday of Bean
Days. Known for its fast
pace, this is the biggest open
rodeo in New Mexico.
Home of the Mighty Trojans,the Wagon Mound High School is also home of the Saturday and Sunday night Dance in the "old" gymnasium.
You are sure to leave with a
full stomach after a wonderful
Sunday Breakfast including
pancakes, eggs, sausage and hashbrowns.
Mud is sure to fly as the drivers try to race through, in order to beat the fastest time at the Mudbog Races.
The Amateur Horseshoe
Tournament is a fun event
for both players and spectators.
Immediately following the parade,
kids and adults enjoy Street
Races and other games.
Hosted by members of the
Wagon Mound Catholic Church,
a game of Bingo can be enjoyed
by anyone who wishes to play.
The Softball Tournament
begins Saturday morning and
runs through Sunday.
